Pine Nuts (Peeled) - California

Pine nuts are obtained from within Pine cones. Pine nuts are slightly oily and their flavour is mildly sweet and nutty. Munch on them as is, or grind pine nuts and combine with olive oil and blended basil leaves to make a beautiful pesto. Sprinkle them on salads and desserts for a crunch. Store in a cool and dry place.
