How to Use Rustic Art Menstrual Cup (Only Cup)

1. Sterilize: Before its first use and after each menstrual cycle, sterilize your cup by boiling it in water for 5-7 minutes.
2. Wash Hands: Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the cup.
3. Fold: Fold the menstrual cup using either a C-fold or a punch-down fold.
4. Insert: Find a comfortable position (squatting or sitting on the toilet). Gently insert the folded cup into your vagina, aiming it towards your tailbone, not straight up.
5. Check Seal: Once inserted, ensure the cup has fully opened and created a secure seal. You can do this by rotating it slightly or running a finger around the rim. It should sit a few inches below your cervix.
6. Wear: The cup can be worn safely for up to 8-12 hours, depending on your menstrual flow.
7. Remove: Wash your hands. Gently pull the stem until you can reach the base of the cup. Pinch the base to break the suction seal, then carefully remove the cup, keeping it upright to prevent spills.
8. Empty & Clean: Empty the contents into a toilet or sink. Rinse the cup with water and reinsert. At the end of your cycle, clean it thoroughly and sterilize before storing it for next use.
